How do we use it?
What will happen as a result of putting something into action?
Using this key, you can identify a sequence of consequences that may occur when taking an action. There could be one outcome, or there could be a long list of potential consequences.
Why its important?
It is important to realize that often our small daily actions are the ones that can have the biggest impact on your life (and on the lives of others too!).
• Taking into account the consequences of the decisions and actions that are implemented.
• Recognizing that small actions can have big effects.
• Understanding the direct outcomes, near outcomes, and far outcomes that might result from implementing something.
Example:
Your school has decided to recycle all the paper waste that is disposed of every day, one of the consequences of the school's decision is that many parents then decide to do the same in their homes, and then this phenomenon is adopted by some local companies. This example illustrates the positive outcomes of the school's decision.
